After reading in a local newspaper about a new fish food being produced in my hometown of Port Talbot, I decided to try the Dragon Feeds formulated diet pellets based on ragworm.

I set up two aquaria with identical numbers of various Danios with growth rates and water quality both being monitored over a period of about 5 months. In the first aquarium the fish were fed a mixture of flake, high protein granules and various frozen foods as I have done for many years with my show fish and breeding stock. The fish in the second aquarium were fed exclusively on the Dragon Feeds pellets.

The fish in both aquaria flourished, with the ones fed on the Dragon Feeds pellets marginally outgrowing the others. Water changes and filter maintenance were performed simultaneously with negligible differentials.

I have also fed the Dragon Feeds pellets to most of my many other species of fish and found that the majority readily accepted them - something that does not normally happen with the introduction of a new brand of food.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it as an excellent fish food.
